Educational & Professional Disclaimer
Updated: July, 2026
Mindquest Play provides educational and facilitative services intended to support general learning and skill development. This page explains important limitations regarding outcomes, professional advice, employment decisions, academic assessment, mental health, participant safety, and use of third-party tools.
1. Educational Purpose
Mindquest Play provides interactive education, facilitation, team-development, game-based learning, and general skill-development experiences. Programs are designed to encourage participation, reflection, communication, problem-solving, leadership practice, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and engagement.
2. Not Professional Advice
Services and website content do not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, employment-law, regulatory, or other licensed professional advice.
Participants and clients should consult an appropriately qualified professional when a decision requires licensed, regulated, clinical, legal, financial, or other specialized advice.
3. No Guaranteed Results
Learning outcomes vary. Results can depend on participant engagement, prior experience, group dynamics, organizational environment, follow-through, management practices, educational context, and factors outside the session.
Mindquest Play does not guarantee improved job performance, revenue, grades, promotion, hiring outcomes, retention, team cohesion, conflict resolution, leadership effectiveness, academic performance, or any other specific result.
4. Not Therapy or Mental Health Treatment
Interactive activities are not psychotherapy, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, or a substitute for mental-health care. Facilitators do not use game performance to diagnose a psychological or medical condition.
5. Not an Employment Assessment
Activities are not validated employment tests, background checks, psychological screenings, aptitude tests, or selection instruments. A participant’s performance should not be used as the sole basis for hiring, firing, promotion, discipline, compensation, or another high-impact employment decision.
6. Not an Academic Assessment
Educational activities are not standardized academic examinations and should not be treated as a formal measure of intelligence, learning disability, academic eligibility, or educational placement unless a separate qualified professional process independently supports such use.
7. Leadership and Team Development
Leadership and team-development activities are intended to create opportunities for practice and discussion. They do not guarantee that a participant will become a more effective manager or that an organization will resolve a workplace issue.
8. Communication and Conflict
Communication exercises may help participants observe patterns and practice alternative approaches. They are not mediation, legal dispute resolution, workplace investigation, harassment investigation, or professional conflict counseling.
9. Participant Comfort and Boundaries
Participants should not be pressured to disclose private, medical, traumatic, financial, or other sensitive personal information in order to participate. A participant may communicate a reasonable boundary or accessibility concern to the organizer or facilitator.
10. Safety and Suitability
Clients and responsible organizers should determine whether an activity is appropriate for the group. If a participant has a condition or circumstance that may affect participation, the organizer should address it through appropriate qualified resources and communicate relevant non-sensitive accommodation needs in advance.
11. Minors
Programs involving minors must be arranged by an authorized adult, parent, guardian, school, educational organization, or responsible coordinator. Mindquest Play does not replace parental, school, childcare, or other required supervision.
12. Examples and Scenarios
Examples, prompts, fictional situations, challenges, and role-based scenarios may be used as teaching tools. Unless specifically identified, they should not be assumed to describe an actual client, organization, event, or person.
13. Third-Party Tools
Services may use or reference third-party conferencing, collaboration, presentation, survey, or learning tools. References do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of the provider’s security, suitability, availability, accessibility, or continued functionality.
14. Website Information
Website descriptions are intended to explain services in general terms. They are not a promise that every session will include every possible activity, feature, tool, outcome, or delivery method.
15. Client Decisions
Clients remain responsible for their own organizational, employment, educational, operational, disciplinary, financial, and policy decisions. Participation in a Mindquest Play service does not transfer responsibility for those decisions to Mindquest Play.
16. Confidential or Sensitive Situations
If a group is dealing with harassment, violence, mental-health crisis, legal dispute, discrimination complaint, medical issue, or another matter requiring qualified intervention, an interactive learning session should not be used as a substitute for an appropriate professional process.
17. Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer as services, tools, program formats, or operational practices change. The date shown at the top identifies the current version.
18. Business and Organizational Outcomes
Team-development and communication programs may support reflection and practice, but they do not guarantee lower turnover, higher productivity, increased sales, reduced conflict, better management ratings, or another measurable organizational outcome.
Business results depend on broader factors such as leadership practices, compensation, staffing, market conditions, internal systems, and implementation after the session.
19. Individual Performance
A participant may engage differently depending on personality, language, role, familiarity with the activity, technology, comfort level, and group dynamics. Performance during a single activity should not be treated as a comprehensive measure of capability or character.
20. Accessibility and Inclusion
We make reasonable efforts to adapt delivery when accessibility needs are communicated in advance, but no general program can guarantee that every activity is suitable for every participant without modification.
Organizers should identify material accessibility needs before the session without sharing unnecessary sensitive information.
21. Professional Development Use
A professional-development session may support workplace learning but does not create a certification, professional license, formal credential, continuing-education credit, or regulatory qualification unless a specific written service description expressly states otherwise.
22. Reliance on Website Content
Website descriptions, articles, program summaries, pricing explanations, and policy pages are general informational materials. They should not be relied upon as individualized professional advice about a participant, employee, student, organization, legal obligation, or regulated decision.
